Photo and video proof on 55% of skincare reviews
Jenpharm makes skin and hair care, from retinol and acne serums to sunscreens, cleansers and hair fall treatments. It moved its full review history to Quoli and now shows shoppers what buyers with skin like theirs say about each formula.
A review history worth keeping
Skincare is bought on trust. A shopper choosing a retinol serum or an acne treatment wants to know whether it worked for someone with the same skin type, how quickly and whether it caused irritation along the way. A brand's own claims only go so far, and customer photos and skin types do the rest.
Jenpharm had built thousands of those reviews in its previous app, many of them with customer photos. Moving apps meant bringing every one of them across with its photos and ratings, and making them easier for shoppers to browse.
Proof on every formula from the first day
How a skincare brand moved its reviews and built on them.
A full review history moved across
More than 11K reviews moved from the previous app to Quoli with their photos and ratings, so every product kept its history from the first day.
Skin type asked on every review
Every new review asks the buyer's skin type, how they rate the scent and whether they would recommend the product, so shoppers can find reviews from people with skin like theirs.
A popup and grid full of photos
A review popup and a grid of reviews carry most of the engagement, with a home page carousel bringing customer photos to the first page shoppers see.
Formulas flagged by sentiment
QI reads every review and sorts it as positive, neutral or negative, so the team can spot which formulas need attention without reading thousands of reviews.
Proof for every skin type
Jenpharm's product pages now carry 12K+ reviews, and more than half include a photo or video. Shoppers engage with them heavily, mostly through the review popup and the reviews grid, where customer photos do the convincing.
New reviews add the buyer's skin type and a scent rating, and nearly every reviewer says they would recommend the product. For a skincare shopper, a review from someone with the same skin type is the closest thing to trying the formula first.
We moved our reviews to Quoli from another app and have not looked back. Most of our customers now add a photo or video, and our product pages finally show reviews that match the quality of our formulas.
